Grant Application Process for Grants more than $5,000

  1. Step 3:   Provisional Approval
    If the Sacred People Foundation is interested in funding your Grant Application, you will be issued a Provisional Grant Approval Letter as well as a Grant Agreement. Please complete the Grant Agreement and mail it to the address below along with the following documents:
    • A copy of your current IRS Determination Letter
    • A copy of your current Annual Operating Budget
    • A copy of your organizational chart
    • A copy of your most recent Financial Statement (audited if available)
    • A copy of your Annual Report (if available)

    3. Once we receive the completed Grant Agreement and the other materials mentioned above, we will issue the funds.

    Please Note: Larger grants may be paid out as step payments as noted in you grant agreement. If step payments are to be made, you should receive your initial funding within a couple of weeks.

Please Note: Grant requests will not be reviewed unless your organization has received a favorable response to your Grant Concept Inquiry from the Sacred People Foundation Inc. (See the Grant Application Process page under GRANTS on this website).

  • DOCUMENTS (To be mailed to the address below only after provisional approval is received.)
    1. 2.1 A copy of your current IRS determination letter indicating that your organization is in fact a 501c3 tax exempt organization.
    2. 2.2 Finances
      • The current annual operating budget (including revenue and expenses) for your organization.
      • Most recent annual financial statement (independently audited if available).
    4. 2.3 Annual Report (if available)
    5. 2.4 Organization Information Brief summary of your organizations history.
      • Summary of organizations mission and goals
      • Description of recent accomplishments, programs and activities
      • Organizational chart including the Board of Directors, staff and volunteers
